The hurdy-gurdy always makes a fine accompanying instrument to electric instruments, and this is no exception. Here, hurdy-gurdyist and vocalist Michaelina is the primary focal point, and the band aptly supports her to create a neo-Medieval metal folk symbiosis. I love the title track, but going with Forgive & Forget as more representational of the entire recording

I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest. This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good. If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt

It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands
